Our productive plant

The production and logistics lay-out inside the facility have been reorganised.

2022

Photovoltaic system

818 photovoltaic panels generating 390 kW of power have been installed on the rooftop of the production plant in Busto Arsizio.

2017

Extension works in the production plant in Borsano

Work begins to expand the production facility to be completed in February 2018.

2018

Transfer of the Valves Division

The valves Division is moved to the new plant in Borsano.

2012

The agreement for Cellasto®

A business agreement with BASF Polyurethanes GmbH, a world leader in the chemical industry, means that Vito Rimoldi S.p.A. can sell and transform Cellasto®. Thanks to our Water jet technologies, each year large quantities of Cellasto®, are transformed into millions of anti-vibration elements.

2015

The Valves Divisionis created

The acquisition of Umberto Ruspi Srl, a historic company and a European leader in the production of flapper valves, valve retainers and precision-blanked mechanical components, gives life to the Valves Division, specialized in the processing of special steel for refrigeration compressors.

2007

Collaboration with universities

The collaboration with Politecnico di Milano marks the beginning of a series of research activities aimed at the improvement of technological processes in production and organization. Over the years, this partnership has developed and expanded to other scientific fields and is a key element in the research and development activities of Vito Rimoldi S.p.A.

2010

The new production plant in Borsano

Construction work starts for the new production facility, where Vito Rimoldi S.p.A. will move its production activities. The work was completed, and the company moved to the new plant in January 2012.

2001

We become a Joint stock company

Vito Rimoldi becomes a Joint-stock Company.

2004

The Social Cooperative

The company's social responsibility becomes a reality when it starts its collaboration with "Cooperativa Sociale Solidarietà e Servizi", which was entrusted with a part of the production of our Company.

1997

Parker distributors

Vito Rimoldi becomes Certified Distributor of the American company Parker Hannifin, world leader in the hydraulics sector. The Fluid Connectors Division is born.

1998

Frenzelit distributors

Another remarkable commercial agreement: Vito Rimoldi becomes the exclusive distributor for Italy of Frenzelit GmbH, a world leader in the production absestos-free sealing materials for gaskets. Thanks to this collaboration, Vito Rimoldi introduces a new graphite and Kevlar® gasket for the die-cast aluminium radiators sector.

The catalogue

The first product catalogue is released.

1990

The first acquisition

The company extends its commercial interests by acquiring Sirtef Flex S.r.l., which produced flexible piping systems for the hydraulics industry.

1940

The foundation year

Vito Rimoldi founds a company to produce and market leather gaskets and belts.

1979

The second generation

Claudio and Gabriella, Vito Rimoldi's children, take over the company's management.
